Meridian Guesthouse is located in Fundata, the settlement situated at the highest altitude out of the mountain localities from Romania. Having on one side the Bucegi Mountains, and on the other side the Piatra Craiului Mountains, it offers absolutely spectacular scenery. In addition, Fundata has an important history: it is the place where the first Romanian officer died during World War I and the first village liberated by the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the summer of 1916.
